What is Giclée?

A giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is an individually produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity production done on a special large format printer. These modern technology printers are capable of producing incredibly detailed prints.

Using light-resistant UV inks that could potentially last for more than 75 years and printed on heavy-weight archival paper, the quality of giclée prints is unmatched by commercial printers. The prints retain all the hue and tones of the original image with more variation in colours and scope of depth, keeping the reproductions vibrant and as intended when created.

The latest independent test results indicate a life expectancy of up to 200 years for some giclée prints.
